WHAT ARE WE. MajorGiftsMT is a collaborative whose mission is to help small to medium sized non profit organizations realize greater capacity for service through the addition of a major giving component to their development program.

THE PROBLEM. Most small to medium sized non profits cannot afford the cost of maintaining a major gifts development staff. They are lucky to have a director of development who focuses his/her time on special events, small gift asks, corporation and foundation proposals and so on. Executive Directors in small to medium sized organizations also are very busy and can’t imagine how they could organize themselves in a way that can bring success through major gifts.
THE SOLUTION. Through MajorGiftsMT we are creating a solution that is aimed squarely at the needs of small and medium sized non profits. We believe that the most serious barrier to successful major gifts for any organization is information. Information about the constituency. Information about effective development strategies. Information about the non profit organized in such a way as to create a real “ah ha!” moment in the donor. We are enablers. We help create linkages that didn’t exist before. For any of this to work it MUST make sense to the client.
